Yet another shower of blessings came on the way of Dayanand Model Sr. Sec. School, Dayanand Nagar ,Jalandhar as the vocalists from the school participated in the State Level Group Song Competition in Hindi as well as in Sanskrit organized by Bharat VikasParishad at A.S. Women’s College , Khanna.

In both the categories, the teams performed par excellence and also got overall trophy for their singing talent. The Chief Guest Mr. Pushkar Singh and the guest of honour Mr. Kamal Sharma along with Mr. Lalit Kumar Gupta, Mr. Sanjay Ghai , Mr. RamrishVij , Mr.HareeshBansal, Mr. RanveerKhanna and Mr. Brij Mohan applauded the performance of the students. The winner teams have qualified for the next level of inter state competitions to be held in Sirsa (Haryana).
