A three day ‘Satyan Innovation Fest’ was organized by Sat Paul Mittal School, Ludhiana . Students from Dayanand Model Sr. Sec. School, Dayanand Nagar participated in ‘Start Up Edge’ as team ‘Innovative DMS’. The project ‘Productive Treatment Of Garbage’ consisted of three rounds i.e ‘Shark Tank’, ‘Crisis Round’ and ‘Marketing’. Yugam Sharma, Harsh Rana and Sourav Sharma acted as CEO, CMO and CFO respectively whereas Nikhil Khanna and Rhythm Jain performed as CTO. In the very first ‘Shark Tank’ round the team ‘Innovative DMS’ was adjudged as BEST TEAM out of 22 teams and awarded with ‘Best Team Trophy’ winning 1st prize. The investors agreed to invest in the project of our team Rs. One Crore along with suitable land as resource. The team ‘Innovative DMS’ offered 25% equity share to the ‘Sharks’. The plan was well applauded by ‘World youth Council’ and the efforts on the part of the team were duly recognized and appreciated.
